Job Description

We are a fully private practice based in the heart of Deansgate Square, we focus on providing a high level of patient care and high end work wrapped up in a luxury experience.

Our work environment includes:

  • Modern office setting (incl. a kitchen area)
  • Coffee machine for staff & patients

This position is for a Trainee Qualified Dental Nurse who is professional, competent and a team player. We are looking for a nurse who has the ability to work effectively & proactively in stressful situations.

The ideal candidate must be a committed, enthusiastic and motivated individual. They will need to be caring and compassionate, a team player, possess excellent communication skills in person and on the telephone in order to deliver an incredible customer service experience, be punctual and reliable.

Days required to work: 5 days per week

Shift times: rotate between a 7:30am to 3pm & 2:30pm to 10pm shift (subject to change dependant on the needs of the business).

Once we are satisfied with your progression, you will cover either a Saturday or Sunday on a bi weekly basis. When this is the case, a day in the working week will be taken off to accommodate.

Duties will include:

  • Preparing and maintaining the dental equipment, instruments and materials within a dental surgery
  • Carrying out infection control and decontamination procedures
  • Recording dental charting carried out by clinicians
  • Preparing, mixing and handling dental materials
  • Providing chair-side support to dentists, therapists and hygienists throughout a range of specialist dental procedures
  • Providing support and reassurance to patients
  • Providing reception and administration support in making appointments, taking payments and dealing with paperwork.
  • Some front of house duties

Salary: £12 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 hrs per week.
