Job Description

Dentalcare Group have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our busy and friendly team based in Bradford-on-Avon, Bath and our Bath Practice in Wiltshire.

The Bradford-on-Avon Team

The Bradford-on-Avon practice is situated close to the High Street with nearby car parks, train station and bus stops.

You will work within a 5-minute walk from the nearest train station. There are some free parking spaces available within a 10-minute walk from the practice or display-parking facilities opposite the practice.

The team says that they are very supportive, welcoming, and easy to work with – this includes Dentists who are amazing – welcoming as well and happy to help in any way.

There are six surgeries available (2 on the ground floor and 4 on the first floor). The practice also boasts a beautiful open plan reception area with a comfortable waiting area and two patient restrooms on the ground level. The practice offers disability access (to the side of the building), a decontamination room (on the first floor) and digital x-rays. There is also a separate staff room with separate facilities – and all other facilities that may be required for your breaks.

The practice offers both NHS and Private services with specialist services including Implants, Teeth Whitening and Periodontics.


The Bath Team

The Bath practice which has recently been refurbished and modernised is situated in the Converted Georgian town house and its only 2 minutes walk away from city centre.

You will work within a 10-minute walk from the nearest bus and train station. There is a paid public car park available within a 5-minute walk from the practice.

The Practice is very bright and has good sized rooms. The team says that they are very supportive, welcoming, and easy to work with.

There are two surgeries available (1 on the ground floor and 1 on the second floor). The practice offers disability access and a decontamination room (on the first floor).

The practice offers mainly Private and small NHS services.


The Role & Responsibilities

  • As part of our nursing team, you will provide excellent chair side assistance whilst ensuring the highest levels of patient care and professionalism at all times.
  • You will also be tasked to assist with Reception duties as / when required
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to learn and be mentored
  • Experience with SOE desirable

 

The Working Hours

  • This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours, 5 days a week Monday - Saturday.
  • The start date for this role would ideally be in June 2022.
