Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Food provided Modern office setting Growth opportunities Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and organised Dental Nurse to join our team every Friday to start with and we may offer other days in the future. The Dental Nurse will provide essential support to the dental team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the dental practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a caring nature, and a passion for patient care. Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared - Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the dental surgery - Prepare patients for treatment and provide reassurance and support - Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) - Record accurate patient information and maintain patient records - Provide oral health education to patients, promoting good oral hygiene practices - Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling payments - Assist with infection control by sterilising instruments and equipment - Adhere to all health and safety regulations Skills: - Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and the dental team - Proficient in English, both written and verbal - Compassionate and caring nature to provide exceptional patient care - Registered Dental Nurse qualification or equivalent - Proficient in using IT systems for record keeping We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career development within our dental practice.
