Job Description

Dental Aesthetica are currently seeking a Dental Nurse to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with using various dental tools and will have an understanding of basic dental procedures. He or she will also be able to explain dental procedures and answer patient questions, and will have a strong commitment to patient care. The Dental Nurse should be an energetic, personable individual who is passionate about helping patients feel confident

Responsibilities:

Assist in the examination and treatment of patients.
Work under the direction of a registered dentist.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Candidate should maintain regular contact with patients and refer to dentist if patient's condition changes.
Candidate should be able to work in an emergency situation and respond calmly and quickly.
Candidate should be able to communicate information to others.
Perform diagnostic testing, such as taking x-rays, using dental instruments to examine the teeth, and collecting oral health samples.
Prepare dental equipment for use.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-35 per week

Salary: £14.00-£15.50 per hour

Altrincham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Dental assisting: 1 year (required)
Dental Nursing: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

Valid GDC registration (required)
