Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Nurse (qualified or trainee) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you'll be instrumental in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting our dental professionals during various treatments. This position requires outstanding communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a compassionate, patient-focused approach to ensure a positive and welcoming experience for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist during dental procedures: Ensure all instruments and materials are ready in advance to support smooth, efficient procedures.
  • Provide patient care: Address patient concerns and questions before, during, and after treatments, offering reassurance and clear information.
  • Maintain accurate records: Update patient details promptly in the IT system, ensuring all information is precise and up-to-date.
  • Sterilisation & cleanliness: Follow strict health and safety guidelines to sterilise instruments and keep the treatment area clean and organised.
  • Patient education: Advise patients on effective oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health.
  • Team collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure seamless care and improve the overall patient experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a dental practice is essential.
  • Certification: Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma, or currently in training.
  • Registration: Active registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Organisation: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-savvy: Proficiency in IT systems for patient management is beneficial.
  • Compassion: A caring attitude with a genuine passion for patient care and enhancing the dental experience.
