Diploma in Dental Nursing Course

The Level 3 National Diploma in Dental Nursing is a one-year equivalent part-time course and candidates are expected to take the first stage of the examination within 12 (April 2023) months of starting the course. The Diploma is awarded by the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN) which is recognised by the General Nursing Council (GDC) and is the entry qualification to a career in dental nursing and related dental specialisms.

Entry criteria: There are no formal entry qualifications but students are expected to be sufficiently fluent in written and spoken English to communicate effectively with patients, their relatives, the dental team, and other healthcare professionals in the UK.

Online Learning
Learn at your own pace! Full course documentation is provided through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)-eTrain supported by our experienced tutors. You just need internet connectivity.

Classroom (face-to-face) Learning
Traditional classroom attendance at our Acton centre (West London); normally two days per month.

Work Experience: If you are not already working in a Dental Practice, we will support you to find suitable employment so you can complete your Record of Experience which is an essential part of the course. You will receive payment for your work which can offset your fees or you may be sponsored by a dental practice.

Payment plan: The total cost is £1490 (excluding non-refundable registration and NEBDN examination fee) payable by instalments as follows:
1- £150 registration fee (non-refundable)
2- Initial course fee: £390 and 5 monthly instalments of £220
3- NEBDN Examination fee: £485 payable at the start of the work for the Record of Experience.
