Location: South West London
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £12.50 per hour (dependent on experience & qualifications)
Hours: 42.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday (07:45-17:15) + 2 Saturdays per month with days off in lieu

We’re seeking an experienced Dental Nurse to join our close-knit, professional team. If you’re organised, confident, and passionate about quality care, this role offers a fantastic chance to grow your career in a busy, well-equipped practice.

Your Role

You’ll provide vital clinical support across a broad range of treatments — from general dentistry to cosmetic and implant work. You’ll be a key part of the patient journey, helping to deliver smooth, high-quality care with professionalism and warmth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Chairside assistance for dentists during general, cosmetic, implant, and surgical procedures
  • Preparation and maintenance of instruments, materials, and treatment areas
  • Strict adherence to infection control and cross-infection protocols
  • Ensuring treatment rooms are clean, organised, and fully stocked
  • Collaborating closely with the clinical and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless patient flow
  • Supporting digital workflows including scanning and photography where trained
  • Accurate record keeping and documentation of clinical procedures
  • Occasional support across sister practices within the Direct Dental Group

About You

  • Enrollement in a recognised dental nurse course
  • Confident and capable assisting across a wide variety of dental treatments
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly, patient-focused approach
  • Well organised and able to multitask in a busy environment
  • Positive, professional, and a team player
